Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and reliable PHP Developer to develop, maintain, and optimize web applications and backend systems for WebyCare. This role focuses on building secure, scalable, and high-performance applications that power customer portals, business systems, and hosting platforms.

You will work on production-grade systems used by real customers. This is a core backend development role, not a trial or training position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain web applications using PHP
• Build backend modules, APIs, and system features
• Work with MySQL or other databases to design and optimize queries
• Integrate third-party APIs and services
• Fix bugs, performance issues, and security vulnerabilities
• Optimize application speed, reliability, and scalability
• Work with frontend developers to integrate UI with backend logic
• Maintain clean, secure, and well-structured code
• Implement authentication, permissions, and data validation
• Handle deployments, updates, and production support
• Write technical documentation and follow coding standards
• Improve existing systems and refactor legacy code

Mandatory Skill Requirements:

• Strong experience in PHP development
• Good knowledge of MySQL or similar databases
• Experience working with frameworks like Laravel or CodeIgniter (preferred)
• Good understanding of REST APIs and JSON
• Knowledge of security best practices in web applications
• Experience using Git or version control systems
• Ability to write clean, structured, and maintainable code
• Good debugging and problem-solving skills
• Understanding of server environments (Linux, Apache/Nginx, PHP)
• Experience working with live production systems
